What and Why and When and How and Where and Who? The aim of this Think Piece is to help think about what questions the study tour might be and to assist in gaining a wider understanding of the issue. The Study Tour will take us to southern Laos, near the border with Vietnam, along the Annamite Mountain, where Stora Enso a pioneer of the New Generation Plantations, is influencing policy in the forestry sector based on concrete results of local population’s socioeconomic development, landscape conservation and business profitability.
