In November, 100 people from 20 countries came to Maputo, Mozambique, for NGP’s annual encounter. Representatives from companies, communities, NGOs, governments, financial institutions and academia spent two intensive days discussing the future of plantation forestry in Africa – the huge opportunities, the formidable challenges, and the possible ways forward.
