The New Generation Plantations Technical Assistance and the African Plantations for Sustainable Development (APSD) join forces organising a multi-stakeholders online meeting in Bono East, Ghana, on the 10th of December.
This meeting will be the kickoff for the development of a Forest Landscape Restoration project aiming at restoring and enhancing riparian and conservation areas, develop family-farming agroforestry, create an out-grower scheme and promote beekeeping, in addition to sustainable timber plantations. This will be a participatory development process with landscape stakeholders working together to establish a multi-stakeholder platform which will help the local communities develop and promote their own projects.
