Hue, Vietnam,  October 27|28, 2020

HUE, VIETNAM,  OCTOBER 27|28, 2020

WWF Viet Nam is implementing a series of projects in the Central Annamites Landscape for ensuring resilient forest landscapes, wildlife populations and freshwater ecosystems that support biodiversity and socioeconomic transformation of communities. The Dutch Fund for Climate Development (DFCD) project, identified Central Annamites Landscape as one of WWF’s Asian landscapes, and seeks to establish a coalition of partners engaged in landscape development. This initiative includes identification of bankable projects that generate income while at the same time social and environment sustainability.

Building upon the 2019 NGP fieldshop in Hue, this meeting will present progress on how the FSC certified smallholder cooperative acacia plantation trees is attracting private investment, and originate opportunities to support the Central Annamites Landscape approach to restoration.
